Our client is a leading human services provider in the Mallee region, which covers northwestern Victoria and far west New South Wales.
They are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual to join their team as a Human Resources and Payroll Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:

  • Maintain staff electronic files.
  • Review and audit all staff files.
  • Ensuring all staff probity checks are current and maintained in the system.
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide the Human Resources Manager with End of Contract, Staff turnover, leave entitlements reports every month.
  • Complete internal program audits.
Payroll:
  • Be responsible for the accurate and timely entry of payroll data.
  • Enter all Reportable Fringe Benefits into ELMO.
  • Run reports and ensure the FBT figures balance.
  • Ensure timely completion of Financial Year End Guide issues by ELMO.
  • Assist with auditing both internal and external.
About You:
  • Certificate 3 in Business Administration / Human Resources or relevant experience.
  • Current Drivers License.
  • Competence and experience in the use of payroll software packages.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment and selection, equal opportunity and award interpretation.
