Our client is a leading human services provider in the Mallee region, which covers northwestern Victoria and far west New South Wales.
They are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual to join their team as a Human Resources and Payroll Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Maintain staff electronic files.
- Review and audit all staff files.
- Ensuring all staff probity checks are current and maintained in the system.
- Review and update HR policies and procedures.
- Provide the Human Resources Manager with End of Contract, Staff turnover, leave entitlements reports every month.
- Complete internal program audits.
- Be responsible for the accurate and timely entry of payroll data.
- Enter all Reportable Fringe Benefits into ELMO.
- Run reports and ensure the FBT figures balance.
- Ensure timely completion of Financial Year End Guide issues by ELMO.
- Assist with auditing both internal and external.
- Certificate 3 in Business Administration / Human Resources or relevant experience.
- Current Drivers License.
- Competence and experience in the use of payroll software packages.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment and selection, equal opportunity and award interpretation.
