Our Client, an ASX company, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join and lead their maintenance team.
About the role:
Reporting to the Operations Engineer, this position plays a key role in ensuring the implementation of a preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment and leading the maintenance team.
- Lead and develop the maintenance team.
- Foster a culture of innovation.
- Provide clear guidance on task implementation and delegation.
- Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring it is adequately stocked to sustain routine and emergency equipment repairs and servicing.
- Always support the maintenance budget and expenditure.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed safely, on time, and with minimal downtime while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Update and implement the Preventive Maintenance Schedule annually, ensuring it aligns with production requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to manage service contracts and secure timely, cost-effective solutions for repairs and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate, traceable maintenance records to ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
We are looking for a Suitably qualified person with a relevant qualifications and sound stable history of industry experience with in-depth knowledge of maintenance protocols and procedures with a focus on operational efficiency and safety.
- You will be a team player with a positive, self-motivated, and proactive attitude, and you will embody our organisational values of working collaboratively, innovatively, nimbly responsive, and empowered.
- You will possess strong communication skills - both written and verbal, have a high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills
- You will have an understanding of record keeping and traceability and be familiar with a range of data management tools.
- You will have the flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as and when required.
- EWP and Forklift License are desirable.
